Character
Nefera is kind, generous, and optimistic, serving as a student teacher while caring deeply for her sister Cleo despite occasional tensions.
Nefera is usually kind, generous and approachable, as she sports a very optimistic and helpful attitude towards other monsters (this is helpful considering that she appears to be a student teacher).
She loves and cares for her younger sister and always gives her love, but does get irritated by her desire to be the center of attention. Despite treating her kindly, she doesn't realize that her performances are upstaging Cleo, thus not realizing how much it causes her to be jealous of always being first in everything.
During her debut episode, Nefera realized that her upstaging is affecting her sister, and as a result she tries to understand her sister much better. As a student teacher, she allows her students to do whatever they want, except for cheating.
Nefera is a very tall, shimmering, brown-skinned mummy with an hourglass figure, long and straight sea-green hair with darker-green and golden streaks, pulled back into a high-ponytail by a golden hair tie, and a small, black-outlined lozenge located on her left cheek.
Her eyebrows are brown, and her almond-shaped eyes are golden with very long and thick eyelashes protruding on each eye. Her makeup consists of thick mascara, dark purple and gold eyeshadow, dark red lipstick, and dark purple nail polish on her finger and toenails.
Her outfit features a set of scorpion-shaped golden earrings, and a fancy Egyptian-inspired golden necklace with a small ruby on the front. She wears a two-piece golden and sea-green dress with most of the elbow-length sleeves and skirt colored black with a pattern of neon-blue, pink, green and turquoise stripes and triangles on it. She also has golden mummy wraps on her legs, and mummy wrap-like, open-toed and open-heeled high-heeled ankle boots with hot-pink stripes, followed by sea-green crystal-like soles and heels. Nefera also accessorizes with two golden bracelets; one with rubies all over it on her right wrist and one with a scarab-shaped pendant on her left wrist.
She has the same hairstyle as her G3 cartoon, but with a single small braid, and her hair streak is black and purple with gold tinsel. She has pale lavender/light purple with gold accents and a white sparkle. She even has a main color that is a purple that matches the eyes, with turquoise and gold above it. Features a bold graphic look. Her lipstick is turquoise. She also has a small diamond/glimmer shape painted on her cheek. She wears a part of a mummy wrap dress that is turquoise or a similar bright blue/green. The dress has sheer detachable sleeves on each arm. She has a purple necklace resembling a snake curled around her neck. She wears the rest of the mummy wrap dress which falls below the waist like a skirt, possibly with satiny ribbon fringe and intricate patterns. She sports a gold-colored belt with painted Egyptian-style details and/or a scorpion design. She wears knee-high gladiator-style sandals or platform shoes that are mostly black or a dark color, featuring cobra-shaped heels.

Nefera is the older sister of Cleo de Nile and has friendly interactions with Clawdeen Wolf and Frankie Stein, along with her pet scarab Lavish.

In "Pyramid Scheme", it's revealed that Cleo's dislike over Nefera is because of jealousy, because Nefera always got the lead role on school plays, while Cleo always have background roles. Despite it, Nefera always treats her little sister kindly. But Cleo actually cares for her sister, when Nefera was about to fall on the lava, Cleo gave up on getting the Heart of Cleopatra to save her sister, and she gave up her own heart to stop the place from collapsing. After being thanked by Nefera, Cleo, at first annoyed but then kindly, hugged Nefera. They returned to Monster High after Frankie created a heart of stone to replace Cleo's heart so she can take it back, after this, their sisterly relationship became better.
Nefera has a pet scarab named Lavish.
